Program FEST X KV Negeri Johor lakar kerjaya masa depan TVET Termaju
UTM actively supports Vocational training events (lifelong learning) that are open to the general public through the FEST UTM x KV Negeri Johor program, which successfully engaged 48 students and 8 teachers from seven Vocational Colleges in Johor. This initiative, led by the Department of Advanced TVET, served as a hands-on, high-impact event focused on the future career paths of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) students. The program hosted at the university included: tours of UTM's specialized TVET teaching facilities, such as the pneumatics, hydraulics, robotics, and fabrication workshops; practical demonstrations; and interactive sessions with industry and academic experts. Critically, it also featured an essential upskilling session for the participants on how to prepare for the Malaysian Educators Selection Inventory (MEdSI) test and university interviews for those seeking to pursue a Bachelor of Education, showcasing UTM's commitment to expanding educational pathways for the wider community.

Program Latihan dan Kursus Pendek untuk Eksekutif
UTM's commitment to Vocational training events (lifelong learning) is solidified in its postgraduate academic mission, which emphasizes research in fields directly related to professional upskilling and executive education. The university offers advanced degrees focused on research in the Curriculum of Professional Continuing Education Program, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), and Training Program and Short Course for Executive. By centering its expertise on these areas, which also include research on Teaching And Learning for Professional Executives, UTM actively shapes the knowledge and standards for providing non-degree, vocational-style executive education to professionals not currently enrolled at the university, thereby supporting lifelong learning for the general public.
