Over the Years
Low Carbon Ride 2020 which was inspired by Dr Rozetta Dolah, Dato ‘Suhairi Saad, and PM Ir. Dr. Shamsul Sarip has managed to attract 26 motorcyclists among UTM and Navy staff in the successful convoy from UTM KL to Cameron Highland. The convoy ceremony was officiated by YBrs. Prof. Dr. Shamsul bin Sahibuddin, UTM KL Pro-Vice Chancellor.
This program is conducted to support the UTM initiative to lower the amount of carbon and also make staff and students healthier by walking or cycling. With the cooperation of several PTJs including PHB, Security Division, and several other PTJs, this program has succeeded in educating campus residents on the importance of maintaining good health.
The Sustainable Cycling Programme in conjunction with Car Free Campus@UTM Kuala Lumpur is scheduled for every 3rd week of the month in 2020. Let’s get together to participate in this programme to support green campus initiatives as well as a Healthy Lifestyle.
