SOCIAL IMPACT (Health & Well-Being)
Sexual and Reproductive Health-Care Services

Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) provides accessible  on-campus health and well-being services that include sexual and reproductive health-care support, as well as related information and education services. A key example is the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Services offered by UTM Health Centre, which indicates the availability of reproductive and maternal health-related clinical support on campus. This demonstrates UTM commitment in delivering  structured health services beyond general medical care, including services relevant to women’s health and reproductive health.

This programme incorporated interactive awareness activities and community participation. In delivering information and education services related to sexual health.

In addition, UTM supported educational programming addressing adolescent social and sexual risk issues through the programme conducted by Psychology and Counselling Centre (PPPK), Persatuan Mencegah Dadah Malaysia (PEMADAM) and Orphancare regarding promiscuous social behavior issues. The webinar aimed to provide exposure and awareness on adolescent social behaviour issues in a safe and open discussion setting.
