Free Drinking Water Station
Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) provides strategically positioned, free drinking water refilling stations across its campus, demonstrating a strong commitment to SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and sustainability. These accessible stations offer clean, filtered water and are located in key high-traffic areas, including the Faculty of Computing (FC) (Levels 2–4 and 1–5), the School of Graduate Studies (SPS) (Level 2), the School of Human Resource Development & Psychology – FSHH (Level Ground Floor), the Faculty of Chemical and Energy Engineering (FCHE) (Blok N01A), and the Academy of Islamic Civilisation – FSHH (Lobby, Blok T08). By encouraging the use of reusable water bottles , the initiative aims to significantly reduce plastic waste, promote a health-conscious (peka kesihatan) environment, and collectively foster a more sustainable and lively campus community
